Plain Oak Drawer Unit Given a French Look

I love adding a French twist to pieces in my home, and keeping things looking fresh with a little funky style. White paint is my best friend when it comes to all things French!! While out thrifting, I purchased a little drawer unit that I thought would look great painted white. The piece had no French bones, so I knew I would have to add something to create a French look. I was trolling thru my favorite blogs when I came across a feature that stopped me in my tracks. I was at The Graphics Factory when I spotted some free labels that I just had to download. These pretty french labels were exactly what I needed to create the look I wanted. Let me show you how I did it:
Oak drawer unit

This is just a plain solid oak shelf and drawer unit. The knobs were chipped and dull. This plain Jane was screaming for a makeover!
Using KILZ, all of the wood was primed. The priming was followed by 3 light coats of white spray paint. It looks better already!
