Pull tab crafts

Question

I have a lot of pull tabs from cans and I am looking for craft ideas for using them. Any ideas?

I use mine to hang fabric wall hangings - I just sew one on each corner at the back of the wall hanging, and it works really well. If you have extra's you do not use, please send them to St. Jude Hospitals. Somehow they use these tabs (IDK exactly) and they help families with housing and patients with treatments. There could be other agencies that do the same thing.

Lamp-shades (not sure if my spelling is correct), crochet them into a handbag, bracelets, bowls, etc.. if you search on pop tabs, you should find some inspiration :-) i'm saving them up also :-)

THIS ISN'T A CRAFT, BUT I RECENTLY DID SOMETHING WITH THE TABS TO BRAG
ABOUT, & SHARE WITH OTHERS. IF YOUR CLOSET IS PACKED WITH HANGERS,
THIS WORKS. TAKE A HANGER, PUT A TAB OVER THE NECK OF IT. ALL OF A
SUDDEN YOU CAN HANGER THRU THE TAB, AND YOU'LL HAVE 2 THINGS
BASICALLY HANGING IN ONE SPACE. I LOVE THIS IDEA! IT SURE SAVES ABOUT
1/2 THE SPACE.

I've bought bracelets made out of  them, purses & you can hang light frames with pics or art with them. Also earrings. Leave them as they are or paint them. I use them to add texture to my mixed media collages.
