A Re-purposed Pizza Peel Message Board

I purchased a wooden pizza peel at a garage sale a couple weeks ago for $2. I planned to add a Dollar Tree pizza pan to the board but it was too big. Continue below to see what I used in place of a pizza pan.
This is a photo of the pizza board prior to painting.
I painted the board with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, distressed the piece with sandpaper, and applied a coat of clear wax.
When I was unable to find a ten inch pizza pan that magnets will stick onto, I found this 10" damper set at Menards.
The damper set actually worked quite well as a pizza pan.
Wooden circles and scrapbooking pizza stickers from Ben Franklin were made into pizza themed magnets.
The pizza peel message board is great for keeping pizza coupons handy, but equally good for displaying photos and leaving family messages.

Love this idea! It would definitely come in handy with the amount of pizza my roommates and I order!
