Yikes! They are coming to cement over my daylily bed and they have just started to sprout greenery. Can I dig them up and move them to another place in my yard safely or will it kill them?

@No search results.Pamela,Yes day lilies are so tolerant. The earlier you move them the better. Will give them time to recover from surgery. Good luck.

This is a great time to move the daylilies. They are one tough plant. You can also divide them if you wish. Just keep them moist if it doesn't rain much where you live.

If they are going to pour cement where the daylilies are....you don't have much of a choice. I think they will be fine tho.

Yes, I thinned mine out in the spring, replanted and they are more beautiful than before. Good luck!

I move mine around all year, except when they're in bloom. They can take a lot of punishment, they are super hardy and drought tolerant.
