Ombré Half Bath

Bought my home brand new in 2009 and never painted the downstairs half bath. I wanted to bring in more of the blues into my home, however couldn't decide on a shade I wanted to use! So I took pictures of all my blue accent decor on the first floor of my house and went to Lowe's and picked three!
It is a tiny bathroom so it's really hard to capture in pictures, how amazing it looks!
I started with the lightest shade on the ceiling and top 2' - 2 1/2' of all the walls with a roller. Next was the middle shade, and then again with the darkest being on the bottom section. After all was rolled on, I then went between the shades where the shades meet and sea sponged to blend. (always using the lighter shade for this process.)
After I was finished I was face timing with a friend who said he felt like he was underwater, like my walls were waves! I completely agreed and started planning out the decor and accessories!
I purchased new hand towels that have ocean prints, new mirror from Lowe's which has a coral boarder, and I ended up layering the two sets of bath rugs as its just extra cushy! I really just couldn't decide if I wanted the lighter memory foam ones or the traditional yarn, darker ones!!
I have always stored our pool towels in those old baskets and wanted to replace, however, after bringing the little table into the room they don't look too bad, at least till I can find a new place for the towels!! And the baskets hide ugly plumbing! The over the toilet cabinet holds all the sunblocks, first floor toiletries, first aid, and TP!

I am still not done as I have a decor feature I want to add! I will post that project when I get a chance:)

Go for it! Don't be afraid! And any color works:) I have a guest room that I have been considering using the ombré effect, but diagonally to on the largest wall. I have one wall that is plum and three that are grey with a lavender hint.
