Tissue Paper Transformation

An old, falling apart curio cabinet just needed some TLC. The back was falling off, the mirrors had been broken, and the wood finish was worn. Add a some beadboard decoupaged with dollar store tissue paper, and a little paint, and you've got a shabby chic, eye-catching piece! The method is simple and only takes some Elmer's glue and a bit of time. Come see the full reveal on the blog.
This vintage styled curio cabinet had been stuck in a corner looking sad and forlorn.
With some layers of stain, paint, and beadboard decoupaged with tissue paper, this piece is taking on a new life.
Doesn't it look like that paper has been there for years?
I invite you to come see how this piece has been transformed to a show-stopper.
