What can you make out of an old beat up cutting board that you can find at the thrift store, you ask? Well, I repurposed one into a useful clipboard for holding the notes that I seem to have scattered around the house. Find the full tutorial on my blog.
This is a really simple and fast DIY project. It takes just minutes to put together and makes a useful tool to have around the house. And while you are making yourself one, why not make one as a gift, too!?!?
The only supplies you need for the project are a wood cutting boards and a clipboard clip. I got from the scrapbooking section of the craft store. Depending on the look you want, you may need to stain the cutting boards, too.
Isn't the rustic look of this chunky clipboard really unique?
The clipboard keeps your paper and notes together and provides a fantastic hard writing surface!

I love it! And all the sanding has been done for you! I love the sturdiness. I use a LOT of spiral notebooks, too, and this gives them an identity and placement.
