43-Mile Dressing Table Makeover

$20
6 Hours
Easy
While on a 43-mile yard sale adventure last fall, I found this little gem. After being left out to be weathered, it was unwanted, barely hanging on, and didn't have all the pieces. Knowing it could become fabulous after some tender loving care, I hauled it home for only ten dollars! See what it took to get it back into shape, and what it looks like now.
Tired, old, and forgotten, but we brought it home to give it new life!
I wiped it down and sanded it completely.
Yes, I painted it white. The dressing table told me that's what it wanted. ;)
Cleaned and sprayed the hardware in a brushed aluminum color to keep a rustic, yet updated look.
Added a mirror and some fun fringe to soften the edges.
Here's the finished look. With a large mirror and large table surface, this makes the perfect place to prepare for the day.
