Happy New Year! And a New Life for a Sad Chest of Drawers!
I love color! And this lovely empire chest of drawers got a new lease on life with a pop of teal and shabby rose paper!
As you can see in the before she was really sad!
Mixed matched hardware and chipping peeling veneer!
I stripped the veneer on most of the drawers and filled in any blemishes, I then painted her in this gorgeous teal and distressed, she felt a little plain still but I had this fabulous shabby paper that i think gave her that extra vavavoom!
I only had a little left over from a pervious project so decided to just do the two top drawers!
I kept the original wooden hardware and painted the same teal for the top drawers and then added sweet crystal knobs for the rest!
I think she is so much happier now and bursting with new life! Happy New Year!
