DIY Glass Cloche

I started cleaning out my china cabinet this morning...and noticed this old vase collecting dust in the corner. I also noticed some plates I never use anymore...the wheels were spinning, and before I knew it, I was outside spray painting the plate with Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint and plugging in my hot glue gun.
After a couple coats of the ORB (I'll explain that smaller circle in a sec!), I headed inside and started making a makeshift knot with some jute - just kinda rolled it around until it resembled a knot, and hot glued it so it was in place...
I went to put it on the upside down vase and realized it needed something. I started digging in the junk drawer and immediately spotted the perfect thing! A candle lid!
I sprayed it the same color as the plate (ORB), hot glued it onto the upside down vase, and suddenly we have a cute glass cloche! Perfect to house a small (fake) plant I had sitting on a shelf.
Such a fun project - and the best part is, I had everything laying around, so this didn't cost me a single penny! So happy I decided to clean out my china cabinet! ;)
