A Bedroom - Before and After

This photo below show the master bedroom in our house when we bought it. We have lived in our house for several years now and I wanted to share it with you today.
The walls are painted in a grayish/brown color and I wanted a crisp, clean feeling to it.
I bought an old door and painted it white, added some photos and fairy lights to the back and fastened it to the wall.
These are my baby shoes and I thought it was nice to display them like this.
These are my current shoes - though not incased in a glass dome ;)
I added the lace to the bottom of the shade to add some softness to it.
These curtains are from Ikea and I love them. They are thick and heavy and block out all the light - and that is helpful here in Iceland were we have the bright summernights.
