Tire Ottoman

Plenty of garages are happy to give you tires. This is an ambitious and time consuming project.
Supplies needed can be found at Lowes and Home Depot.
1/2 inch plywood, cut in circle (2) one circle for top and bottom circumference of tire with jigsaw, then screw into top and bottom of tire.
Start gluing your rope sisal or nylon which ever you prefer. Sisal is very rough on your skin. I would use nylon next time. I used 5 tubes of E6000 glue or u can use a heavy duty glue gun. 5 pkgs of sisal rope needed to cover circumference of tire. Took me a week to finish very tedious.
Stain or paint ur legs and attach to bottom plywood. Legs were from Lowes
enjoy

How do you get rid of the tire smell? Very cool looking though, really like it!

This is great way to recycle a route. What did you clean it with?
