Pallet Planter Box for Cascading Flowers

I have dreamed about having those amazing cascading petunia flower baskets hanging off my back porch. I try each year, and the flowers do pretty well until July. The harsh afternoon sun and wind really do a number on the flowers. I'm going to admit defeat and try planting them in the front yard this year. Hoping to add a wow factor to an otherwise boring window, I built a large planter box from pallets.
I disassembled a couple of pallets, used to the bottom supports for the legs, slats for the sides, and scrap 1x4's for the bottom.
I drilled holes in the front and sides for the wave petunias to flow from the box.
Next I added layers of dirt with soil moist. Then I realized that the box was going to use a lot of potting mix, so I used packing peanuts as filler in the back edge where there aren't any flowers.
