Supplies:
6-8 place mats
1 roll shelf liner
Credit Card
Scissors
{or}
Craft Blade/Cutting Tool
X-ACTO Knife
Cardboard
Scrap Paper
Pencil
Using inexpensive supplies...learn how to make your own DIY Fridge Liners, for the glass shelves in your refrigerator! Our selves are really bulky, heavy, and made of glass/ metal. These liners cut down on the amount of debris that comes into contact with the glass making it easier to manage any mess.
DIY and cover with decorative contact paper!
You can even make some for the shelves in the refrigerator door!

    If you clean the glass shelfs or the placemats, you'll still have to clean it. However, I find your idea for the door shelfs more practical because they are in plastic and scratch easily. I would do it to keep those shelfs new. Plus it gives the door a nice color.

    I got Vinyl top liner at the Dollar Store. It's a roll of liner and you can cut it to fit your shelves. It's Non-Adhesive, Non-Slip, Washable and stain resistant. It comes in different colors. You can also get a bigger roll at Dollar General for $5.
