Consider selling them on Craigs List for fencing. Cha Ching

@Cindy if you are a gardener you could build a potting table for the backyard - they are very handy to have. You could save them for projects to come - I have had old fence boards in the back for a few years and use them in projects that come up. The posts could be used for legs on pieces you find - roadside rescues are the best. Sometime you find a wood box or other piece that once cleaned up and refinished just begs for legs - your posts could be cut down to length for the piece. Even the rounded ends could be cut off and used as feet to add interest to a cabinet or dresser. If you decide not to save for future use you could always put them on your local free cycle site and I guarantee you they will come and pick them up - just remember to remove your post once someone gets them or you will be plagued with request.

When I removed my old deck I had the same issue and didn't want to toss a bunch of perfectly good Deck rails and posts, I had a solution, I put them around my raised garden, I put them on Cinderblocks as a fencing around the garden and then I planted lillies on the outside. I was a great solution and the wood was not wasted and no more deer trampling the tomatoes.

@Lee Cunningham Green that's what I was going to suggest too, great looking garden and critter proof! Can't get better than that!

Good golly!! Oh please DO repurposed those!!! Lean 2 together as a teepee and plant beans..or lean them in a nice row against the House and plant climbing roses, climbing tomatoes (rapunzel tomatoes would be gorgeous)..or stack them even pour planting mix in the slats and you'd have an instant raised garden great for radishes, carrots, lettuce, onions etc..THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS !

Recently did a search on Pinterest for DIY headboards. Saw one that repurposed a porch / deck railing as a headboard. Looked so good that I pinned it!

Repurpose as a hanging rack - maybe drop down rack - for the laundry room for days when the weather is no good for drying. Saves using the tumble drier. Hang in the kitchen over the bench space for hanging pots. Hang it from the ceiling on chains. If you have a deck, Hang it over the deck with pretty fairy lights or a re-purposed chandelier hanging from it. Use it for trellis in the garden for climbing plants. Hang on the wall as a magazine rack. There must be a ton more ideas but these are the first that sprang to mind.

I love the idea of hanging it and putting lights on it!

Use it in your craft room to hang rolls of gift wrapping paper, ribbons, saran wrap, tin foil, hang pots on it to hold scissors, pens, pencils, paint brushes, knitting needles, crochet hooks, chalk, markers, glue, material, quilts, anything that you would use in your craft room.

We had some from my parents home so for sentimental reasons we put the posts on a metal stake, painted them cool colors & placed them in the flower garden for garden art. It added height to a spot that needed it!!!

Those beautiful spindles would make a beautiful garden gate. Wish I had them! Show us what you do with them.

I'd use one as a pot rack in the kitchen. Some I'd criss-cross them, screw them together with bolts to make squares, add to a base, or anchor into the wall. and use them in the garage for garden tool holder, skis, misc wood, PVC anything long ..I also like the idea on lights..I'd make a canopy , bolt several together for size wanted, string lights over a deck or patio..I'd finish the ends with finials from drapery dept.

I'll have to try the criss-cross thing. I like that idea!

Some of them would make beautiful trellises. I can also see lawn benches or chairs made with some as well.
