Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Sep 28, 2011Zink works like a charm. We used copper once, way to expensive and it tended to bleed and stain the roof. When installing the Zink or even copper, you only need about one half to an inch exposure for it to work. You should however clean the roof as soon as you can do it safely. If not the moss is feeding on the shingle and will cause damage that cannot be repaired, if it has not happened yet.Helpful Reply
