Chalk Paint Saves a Suitcase From the Tip!
Years of neglect certainly showed on this once quality suitcase. Luckily my friend thought of me before she put it in the rubbish. Chalk paint was the perfect medium to up cycle this piece with a minimum of fuss.
Voila! This gorgeous up cycle was created with no sanding or time consuming stripping, it just had a sponge down with soap and water.Then two coats of Vintage Pink chalk finish paint and some Aged white for the accents, were brushed on, lightly sanded back in parts and sealed with a liquid wax.
