How to make newspaper pots, and make money with an annual plant sale!
It’s time to start seedlings or cuttings! This is how I make quick and easy pots to start indoor seeds and cuttings. When my children were young, every spring we would start
thousands of plants for our local flea market. It was a great way for them to earn some
extra money, and they would make up to $300.00 a day! (And because we needed thousands of pots, we devised this fast production line!)
People love to find a deal on perennials, and we have lots of them growing out in the yard, so it was a great way for them to make some extra money. And perennials grow back every year, and they multiply, so it’s a goldmine right outside your door!
They sometimes did it on our own property as well, at the end of the driveway, as “yard sales”, and had good success in that as well!
We did Hostas, Bleeding Heart, Decorative Grasses, Phlox, Dianthus, Day Lillies and even Chives, and Perennial Onions, anything that grew back on it’s own year after year.
So if you are looking to make some extra money, and you have perennials growing
on your property, here’s a way to make some extra cash! (If you don’t have perennials, plant some this year, and you will be ready for next year!) If you don’t have flea markets in your area, post an ad in your local newspaper as a “yard sale”, or “garage sale” and people will come flocking to your yard for your “Annual Plant Sale”!
See the video to watch how easy it is to make a bunch of these pots:
We had to devise a quick method, since we usually made about 1 to 2,000 pots each spring. How to here: https://youtu.be/BTkqLZDHyiU
