Updating an Old Jewelry Cabinet

I design and sell jewelry in several local shops and vintage flea markets and I'm always on the lookout for something unique to display my jewelry on. For several years I've been buying old jewelry cabinets at thrift stores and garage sales and updating them. Here's one of my favorites!
This is one of the biggest jewelry cabinets I've found. But it did have a few problems. The ring drawer didn't pull out anymore and some of the handles were missing.
So I just filled the holes with Minwax wood filler and my hubby fixed the ring drawer for me.
I let the wood filler dry, painted it with CeCe Caldwell's Seattle Mist, & distressed it.
Then I drilled holes in the center of each drawer and added crystal drawer pulls that I'd been hoarding.
Notice they don't match... I don't care! I like it better that way!
And now the ring drawer works, too!

Have a question about this project?
Stunning !
Did you have to repair or replace the inside?
IF so- how?
I have this exact one and the cloth inside is pretty bad. I'm scared to touch it without professional help.
Thanks
