Repurpose Damaged Patio Umbrella

Wind damaged our patio umbrella, the metal parts where broken and the only thing salvageable was the pole, and the indoor/outdoor material of the umbrella. I have been searching for inexpensive indoor/outdoor material for pillow project, and WOW, that stuff is expensive. So I have made good use of this tuff-stuff weather resistant material.
First I removed the air vent top by carefully cutting the stiches. (saving this for another project)
Flipped the material over so as to be able to pin the shape of my pillow, I didn't have any sort of pattern to go by so I shaped it in an envelope so I could just slip the pillow in.
Sewed the edges. And cut off the excess, which wasn't much wasted.
Cut off the "male" part of the Velcro.( I think this is used to hang lights on the umbrella), but I cut apart and used it for the closure of the envelope pillow cover by sewing this part to the inside/outside, which will attach to the "female" piece that I left.
No seamstress and don't sew a lot, but I was pleased with end results. I could get four large pillow covers made with very little waste by making the envelope covers.
Very soft comfy and weather resistant. Nice relaxing place to sit.
From umbrella to cushions!! I had all the pillows so the cost of the outdoor cushions, zero!
