Cola Bottle Flowers

Recycling.. Recycling... Recyclingggg...!!!
This hobby has literally turned me into a rag man :D A proud one B)
People would ask me before tossing away stuff "Huda do you need these bottle/tins/boxes etc for something?"
I prefer it on buying new stuff as i think we all need to be kind to our planet and that's one of the best reason we must promote recycling.
For a few days I've been collecting plastic soda bottles as I had this in my mind.
I love glass or anything that is transparent. and these flowers have hit me with the cupid arrow right in my heart.
I created these for a future project but couldn't wait to share it with everyone.
One bottle is enough for one flower
Cut into the piece and use the middle part for the petals.
The bottom of the bottle is the first layer of petals and the cut out petals make the second one.

The petals are then burnt from the edges to shape them.
Centered with large pearls, the beauty is unbeatable :)

Very elegant...especially when pearls are added. I have done this with plastic spoons (cut handle off) I also use a lit candle rather then a lighter...believe coke bottle will give me larger flowers...off to find some coke bottles! Thanks for sharing.
