Glitz, Glamour and Gorgeous - Hollywood Style

Yes, I have a little crush! The over-the-top Hollywood style is caught my eye lately and I must admit, I can`t stop thinking about it!!
Great thing is, it is not just for the rich and famous; a modern version is surging in popularity, fueled by many designers and bloggers. Not everyone can afford original, expensive pieces, but elements of Hollywood Regency style are within reach for even the most budget-minded home decorator.
Going Hollywood Regency is all about the details like wonderful fabrics, velvet drapes, silk lampshades, chandeliers with crystals, sculpted carpets.
It`s meant to be an eclectic mix of styles. Use classic furniture that never goes out of style, add glamorous details and there you have it.
And it`s back big time because it looks luxurious and glamorous, you can create an individual look because it allows you to mix and create your own living space. This style is perfect for a home decoration and a home obsessed bloggers (like me :D), because it give you the opportunity to be able to mix vintage, borderline-tacky pieces, add some glitz and glam and have them live in harmony.
And I think is`s great for me cause it can be a real reflection of my personality, because it allows both details and color, but still appears like purified and clear style.
So, I`m on to it! I have to find perfect details, like brass coffee table, gold sconces or lamps, beautiful art work or mirror, perhaps brass or gold shelving unit, perfect rug, lovely details and more....
OMG, what is wrong with me...!? Am I going completely mead!? I need a coffee and a good night sleep, it will pass...
What do you think ladies?
Oh, I almost forgot... Today I found the perfect little thing... Her name is Magnolia, and she is a jewelry holder.
It's a start, don`t you think?

In the first picture (cover shot ) of the parlor with the green walls. Can you please tell me what color green it is. I want to paint my Hollywood Regency bedroom “ mint “ green but my mint seems so much darker than yours. Thank you for your share.
