Farmhouse Coffee Table Makeover

Changing the look of a piece of furniture doesn't have to mean a complete makeover! Here I simply painted the legs with chalk paint!
I like to blend Old White and Pure White from Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. It makes the perfect white for me.
This farm table was hand-made. It is very heavy and so well made. It just needed a little brightening up.
I simply painted the base and left the top as is.
It has really helped to lighten and brighten the space.
Then lightly distress to fit your tastes and apply a couple of coats of clear wax. Let it cure and buff to the desired shine.
I've always loved this table that was made for us by a friend's husband. It is great for our media room.
