I use an old Dr Pepper bottle that is smooth all the way down (some have a little indent on the bottom) to roll out pie crust. I have been doing this for 50 yrs. It works great. I hate those bulky wood ones that are a pain to store. I have a small countertop and the wood ones are always knocking over things.
