Soda Bottle Carry-Alls

Fun little carry all containers for storing just about anything that will fit. Another wonderful way to upcycle those plastic soda bottles and get organized at the same time!
Supplies Needed


Plastic Soda Bottles, straight sides preferred. Aprox. 32 oz size is shown.


X-acto Knife


Goo Gone


Material


Pull string cord of some type.


Glue Gun


Sewing Machine to hem fabric. You could also do it by hand.
You can use any size bottle. Remove the labels. Cut your fabric to fit around the bottle with a 1/2" overlap.
Hem one side of the fabric to hold your drawstring and glue onto bottle as shown.
Flip the fabric up.

    Wouldn’t it be nicer looking if you sewed the fabric sides up into a tube then made the hem for the drawstring?

    the way you have it the fabric will ravel and be a mess.

    great idea though, I’m going to make some for crayons and markers

    I have trouble cutting plastic bottles. What am i doing wrong?

    i tried my x acto knife, my kitchen knife, a saw.

    only succeed with 1/2 bottle & it is so crooked.

    I’m going to put a few holes in the bottom of the bottle and a mesh fabric for the top for collecting shells at the beach 🐚 and my 6 year old granddaughter loves collecting rocks for her rock polisher. Love this idea all the way around!
