Flower Pot Update

Easy
I couldn't seem to part ways with these flower pots that have clearly seen brighter (and more colorful) days. Then I decided all they really needed was a little TLC and a lot of spray paint!
Last year I used fabric and Mod Podge on these flower pots. Unfortunately, fabric is not made to last outside in the sun all summer long. But that worked for me! It was easy to remove and start fresh this year.
First, I used sandpaper to smooth out the rough edges. Obviously, you can skip this step if your pot is already smooth.
Next, I taped the outer edge of the flower pot and spray-painted the rest of the pot. I let this dry a little longer than usual (an hour or two), because I needed to apply tape to the bottom portion in order to paint the top. Then I taped the bottom of the pot and sprayed the top.
That's it! Quick, easy and now I have "new" flower pots for this summer!
