How to Build a DIY Wine Bottle Tiki Torch

$20
30 Minutes
Easy
Holiday weekends are great times with friends and family. You can spice up your outdoor space with this DIY wine bottle tiki torch. It's easy to make and costs less than $20. And once you make one the others are even less expensive to build.
Follow the step-by-step instructions in this tutorial and you'll be all set.
The first thing you need is an old wine bottle.
Fill it with sand.
Add your tiki fuel.
Grab a bronze flange from Lowe's (don't worry, I show you the part number in my video).
Wrap teflon tape around the flange so that it makes a tight seal with the wine bottle.
Place a tiki wick through the flange.
Place the flange into the bottle and trim the wick so that it's about 1" above the flange.
Allow the fuel to absorb up the wick for 10-15 minutes.
Light the wick and you're done.
It's super easy and anyone can do it.
If you need more instruction just watch my video :D
Cheers,
Jeff

Where do I get tiki torch wick? Can I use candle wick I have an entire spoil of it. I also heard of ppl using old shoelaces. I’m not sure where I can buy it if it’s better to do that I know how to make tiki torch fluid from vegetable oil citronella oil and other essential oils. I have wine bottles sand and other decorative items for it. Just not sure about wick.
