Flea Market Find: Chicken Feeder DIY Project

One of the best things about where I live is the fact that my house is conveniently located a few blocks down from the local flea market! Every Saturday and Sunday morning I get up early to find some amazing treasures, and I am so stoked to show ya’ll what I did with these two chicken feeders I snagged a few weeks ago!
I got a steal with these nice feeders, only $20 total! I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do with them when I saw them, turn them into a garden! As seen by my recent succulent garden, ya’ll know I love to plant things in odd containers, and these guys didn’t stand a chance.

I made a trip to Lowe’s and grabbed a few bags of pottings soil and some herbs for the small planter. I picked dill, basil, thyme, and oregano. I filled the soil to the top of the planter and added the plants in and cleaned up the mess from spillage.
