My First Kreg Jig Project: An Easy ScrapWood Striped Table

I finally got to put my new Kreg Jig to use recently and after building some more picture ledge shelves with it, I built this awesome table!
Last week I shared 10 amazing Kreg Jig projects and now I’m sharing another one with ya’ll!
I have a small plant and a little herb garden that needed a home next to a window, and once I got this Kreg Jig I was finally able to complete a table for it.
This table is so easy, the steps are limited!
Supplies:
Kreg Jig
Plywood rectangle (cut to 15″ x 26″)
1/4″ finished plywood cut to the same size
1×3 cut into 4 pieces (2 cut to 15″ and 2 cut to 27.5″)
4 36″ legs with plate attachments
Wood filler
Wood glue
Sander
Paint
Frog tape
*I didn’t miter the corners of the 1/3 side pieces, and the table turned out perfectly fine since I filled in the edges with wood filler to make it smooth.
Directions:

Once all of your wood pieces are cut, wood glue the finished plywood to the top of the plywood and let dry.

Once dry flip it over and screw in the metal plates for the legs, then screw pocket holes in. See the photo below for where to drill the holes.
Using a right angle clamp (if you have one, if not, just hold the piece against the plywood), clamp one of the 1×3 pieces onto the coordinating side and screw in.

*Put together the 15″ sides first, then the pieces for the 26″ sides last.
After all of the sides are together screw on the legs and flip the table over.

Fill in all of your gaps and nicks with wood filler and sand it down once dry.

r the fun stripes on the top I used some more Frog Tape to map out some big stripes.

I started at one end with a piece of tape on one end, put down another next to it, and then another. Then I peeled off the piece in the middle and moved it to the other side of piece #3 and repeated. Make sense? If not, here is a photo:
