Nail Polish Rack

Missy Polen
by Missy Polen

Have been wanting something to store my nail polish on so that I don't have to take them all out of the old purse just to see what colors I have. Finally seen a couple of 1" x 8' boards and a small piece of paneling at Home Depots' scrap pile.

Had Home Depot cut paneling to 3' X 2'. Also had them cut the 1" boards down to 3' long. My husband cut the 2' base and top boards himself at home.

With the help of hot glue (didn't have wood glue) and some screws for the sides, and finishing nails to secure the back to the shelves.

He was able to add a few 1" strips to the front of the shelves to make a lip on the shelves so that the nail polish doesn't fall off.

He completed my nail polish rack in time for Mother's Day. As you can see I have a few colors but have plenty of room to buy more with plenty of room. I love my nail polish rack. If you want better directions, let me know here or you can find me on facebook under the name: Missy Jacob.
