Decked Out Chalkboard Sign

With all the time we've been spending outside and on our deck I figured it was about time to start sprucing it up!
I found this memo board at a garage sale for $2, it was dusty and needing some attention.
I removed the cork board off the back and spray painted the frame in a navy blue.

Using the Vaseline method (except substituting soft wax instead) I distressed the frame so that I had navy showing through white.
I cut a piece of plywood to fit the frame and painted it with Rustoleum Chalkboard Paint. Once it was dried I secured it to the frame.
Writing some Deck Rules added the perfect finishing touch! Head over to the blog for all the details!
