French Dresser Makeover

I picked up this beautiful French Dresser at the thrift store for $40.00! I loved the lines and it was in great shape and I couldn't wait to give it a new look! I gave it a makeover using Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint.
Before
I used two coats of Trophy Gray gray mixing in the bonding agent with the first coat to prevent any chipping from happening.
I then used a technique called "washing" to give it a more dimensional look. To "wash" a piece you just water down your paint, paint it on, then wipe it off with a cloth. It will settle into the details and show them off beautifully! I used Grain Sack for the "wash".
I finished with an antiquing wax to deepen the colors and to age it a little bit.
