Refinished Pedestal Table

I love when I can get my hands on a piece of furniture that is solid wood. There are so many possibilities. This table was a custom refinish from a previous client of mine, she was looking to update this dark table and turn it into something much brighter!
Here is a look at the before. It is a beautiful solid wood Ethan Allen table, it just needed a facelift.
Now it is so light an cheery!
Since this table is solid wood it made sanding the top down possible and I am so glad. It has such beautiful grains and I love the wood top. I stained the top with Miniwaxes Early American and top coated it with a Spar Urathane.
I have to admit, I kind of really hated these chairs when they showed up, and I hated them while I was sanding them, because sanding chairs is a very long process, but I can now say I am a lover of these chairs. They just needed a little help showing off all of their curves! For more pictures and details head to my blog post!
