It's that time again, It's Cent-Sational! Last month was our first month doing the Cent-sational Salvage Challenge. And I've gotta admit it was pretty amazing! The competition was steep and everyone did an awesome job producing some fantastic creations using kitchen utensils.
This month it's all about those chairs!
I found probably the most bland ad modest chairs ever at my local Habitat Restore Center. But they had potential and most important, it was priced right at $5 each.
The weather is warm and the sun is shining. Who wants to spend it indoors? Not me.
So when I saw these lovely chairs I knew it would be perfect for outdoor seating under an awning.
I connected the chairs using a scrap piece of plywood.
Starting by tracing out the shape.
Then cutting it with a jigsaw.
Once it was all attached and the hole for the planter was cut, it was time to bring life to these otherwise boring chairs.
Now its time to get out there.
And smell the roses...err whatever these flowers are (I'm clueless when it comes to gardening).
