My $8 Cabinet Makeover - Pottery Barn Style

I got the idea for the cabinet makeover while looking at a Pottery Barn catalog. While the catalog piece does not look exactly like my finished cabinet, it has the look I was going for. The cabinet began as an island in the kitchen of my first home. It is solid wood and has now been on the porch of this house for 6 years.
And this is how my cabinet started out...not so attractive.
After some serious cleaning, I used 2 cans of Rustoleum's Dark Walnut spray paint to complete the job. I also removed the existing handles, scrubbed off the rust, and gave them a coat of Rustoleum's Chrome paint. The project took about 1 hour to prep and paint and 24 hours for the complete drying time. I have to say that I am thrilled with the results.
