    How is this attached to the wall? Are there brackets on the back or is it hung like a picture frame?

      There are two cleats (1x2 boards) screwed into studs and then we screwed the boards into the cleats.

      Wow...Awesome job! Looks great!! Thanks for sharing....gave Me lots of great ideas for My work space! I have some pails I that I keep odds and ends in and been saying I need a convenient way to hang them. Hadn't even crossed My mind to use the curtain rod...sooooo THANK YOU for all the great ideas!!!!

      You could use the little crates or use the box from a shadow box frame and repurpose the glass for another project.

      You could also use a cardboard box and cover with decorative paper or fabric to go with your color scheme.

    I have a pegboard like this, framed and all, in my very tiny 9 x 9' 5" kitchen that holds the pots, pans and lids I use the most. The rest are stored in the drawer under my oven. Have lived in this house for 44 yrs. and you get used to a small space over time. I like the concept.
