Chalk Paint And The French!

I needed a cute but very different waste basket for my new office craft room. When I saw this at a thrift store,it was based painted black.Perfect!
I used lace chalk paint from Michaels.A french stencil that means {The French Inn}.
After stencil dry, I sanded down the sides so the black finish would peak through .Apply wax or satin spray to seal paint.
Coffee brown for stencil.
Even on the sides, detail added keeping in a french theme.I love how this one of a kind french inspired waste basket came out! Fitting the theme in my shabby chic office.
