Doll Carriage Planter

I found this large vintage doll carriage at the dump and decided it had to come home with me.
I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it.
But it certainly didn't deserve to end up as landfill.
Once I got it home I found this plastic bin in my greenhouse , and it fit perfectly.
I added a few pieces of scrap wood to fill in the gap beneath the bin.
It's really a perfect fit. Like they were made for each other.
I filled it with good quality, moisture retaining, pre-fertilized potting soil and added some purply/blue pansies and sweet alyssum .
I still need to do something to the outside of the plastic bin, but until I decide what I'm calling it done. Its white colour matches the outside of the wheels so I'm OK with it for now.

I'm starting to think almost anything can be used as a planter, and it's such fun planting flowers in unusual things.
