Adding Elements For A Purely Americana Celebration

Are you a fan of rustic Americana? I know I definitely am! When planning for this year's Independence Day, I wanted my tablescape to give a nod back to simpler times. I added a few rustic elements to accomplish this.
First, I painted and stenciled this simple crate I had found recently.
A centerpiece was created with the crate, white flowers, apples, and of course, mini versions of Old Glory.
To add more rustic charm, I made these country-prim no-sew coasters for each place setting using denim rags. To see the tutorial how to make these denim rag coasters or placemats, please visit the post at my crafting blog here: http://parsimoniouspartyperfection.blogspot.com/2015/05/remind-me-of-fabric-of-our-country-also.html
Please visit my full post below, there is also a link to recipes such as my savory BBQ chicken, potato salad, cob corn, and chili! Everything you need for a fun and festive July 4th celebration. Thank you!
