Rocking Chair Makeover
This simple diy Rocking Chair Makeover using chalk paint was so easy. From rustic to beachy in a few short hours. What a great furniture transformation.
Here's what it looked like before - it had been out in the elements for a long time & starting to splinter. This sad rustic rocking chair had seen better days. It’s finish was wearing off & I was getting splinters when I would sit in it. Fortunately we did a full front porch makeover & so now I sit in comfort. But I still love the rocking chair & wanted to use it elsewhere. I just didn’t want to have to sand it all down & re-stain it.
I taped off the seat, knowing that I wanted to keep that part natural & started painting the rest. After just a few coats it was ready to be sealed & enjoyed.
Here's the final result - fresh & pretty!
