Summer Coastal Mantel
I am continuing with a coastal theme in the living room. I created these versatile wood blocks last year & love that they spell 12 different sayings, so I constantly change them up for the seasons. This time I spelled BEACH to go along with the coastal look.
I created another starfish garland to hang along the mantel & added some beautiful blue glass bottles.
I love the remote controlled battery operated candles I found at Hobby Lobby. The Flag Pillow is a DIY project made from dropcloth.
I love the conch shell I found filled with an air plant. I used a demijohn for the opposite end & used twine to create this look similar to the netting you see all over Pinterest. Craftberry Bush has a great tutorial for this.
