Pine Wall Unit Re-Invent

See these wall / entertainment units all the time and liked the bottom half of this solid pine one. Thought it would make a nice entry seat with storage.
Took it apart best I could saving the top for later then sawed off the remaining top.
Gave it a good sanding then glued and screwed down the top on its new "top". Also had a perfect size piece of wood that I attached to the back behind the drawers. It is very stable but thought that would make it more so.
Had some "spa white" chalk paint a friend didn't like so watered it way down and using a chip brush, gave it a couple coats then waxed it real good.
Painted the drawers a nice blue I had on hand and added some fun knobs and some seashell decals to drawer sides along with some pretty contact paper I found at a thrift store.
Here it is all cute with some pillows and a couple vintage metal milk crates my husband found in a perfect degree of rust.
It's just the right height and depth for my entry way and actually pretty comfortable.
