The "Finally Finished" Cottage Fresh Kitchen

It only took a year and a half between having a baby, finding the time, money and energy . . . but we finally reached a point where we could cross "Kitchen" off our list. And it feels so good. Let me show you where our kitchen started when we moved in.
Pretty dark. Pretty dreary. And very Maple-y. Not my cup of tea. So we brought on the white paint, and did a DIY concrete countertop, which looked great at first. I thought we were only a few small things from being done. It did look pretty good, after all.
But after only a half of a year, we came to grips that our countertops had to go - we tried another DIY top method, changed a few more things, and now the kitchen is the love of our lives.
My husband mastered his first attempt at installing corian/solid surface countertops, I added a splash of color and other small things to add just the right amount of charm.
Come read all about the details and be inspired to add some DIY's and charm to your own home.
