Upcycled Hallway/Garden Bench

Upcycle some old chairs into a bench seat - perect for the garden, hallway, kitch, dining room table. Have fun with colours.
Strip the chairs down. Arrange them and pain the inside of each where it will be joined to an adjacent chair.
Create the seating area with one plank of wood cut to size. Screw down into each corner of each chair.
Brace in suitable places to strengthen.
Paint - we primed then used three coats of chalk pain and finished with two coats of wax.
Create a foam cushion seat to finish the item off. Will you choose bright buttons or toning buttons?

I actually want to do a similar thing but couldn’t figure out how I was going to keep the pieces together. Use a plank over all of them. Duh! Thanks.😀
