Ahoy, Matteys! It's A Patriotic Banner!

I whipped up this fun and super easy to make nautical themed banner for the 4th of July. (Does everyone decorate the inside of their house for the 4th or is it just me?) Other than allowing the paint to dry on the anchors, this project took me roughly TEN MINUTES to make. Quick. Easy. Cute.

SUPPLIES NEEDED: mini flags, ticking fabric, blue craft paint, foam brush, double-fold bias tape, an anchor stencil, hot glue gun OPTIONAL: pinking shears and clothesline rope.

Always remember, when you hang a flag vertically, the stars go on the left (I'm a stickler for flag etiquette)! I go much more into the details on making them on my blog post, but the Cliff Notes version is on the photos :)
Supplies needed
I used the little 4" x 6 1/4" flags you can find at the grocery store or craft store and took them of the sticks.
I made a template for the anchor pieces.
Cut them out with pinking shears.
And stenciled the anchors.
Hot glue the flags and anchor pieces to your bias tape.
And you have a cute and easy patriotic banner!
