Chippy Door Salvage + Ironstone Plates = LOVE #ReclaimedWood

1 Hour
Easy
I wanted to find a unique way to display a few of my favorite ironstone pieces, and a super chippy piece salvaged from a farmhouse door ended up being the perfect thing. Once I removed the panel from the old door, I just added hangers on the back. I affixed hangers to the back of the plates, rather than mounting them to the board, so I can switch them out if I feel like it. The piece above the display is salvage from an antique side table.
I also made a complimentary piece to display my favorite tarnished antique spoons, so I used some tongue and groove wood that was salvaged from a demolished Missouri courthouse as the backdrop for them.
Lots of history in every piece of these displays!
