Fixing blinds that won't open or close the slats

Just install new 2" blinds and the cord would not tilt the slats.

    usually there is a tilt wand that attaches to the opposite side of the blind from the cords...that controls the tilt of the slats. The cord is to pull up or let down only, it does not control the tilt of the slats.

    I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY BLINDS. HOPE YOU GET SOME HELP ON SOLVING THE PROBLEM.

    Kathy, there are blinds that have 2 sets of cord, one for pulling up or lowering and the other to tilt the slats. Sorry vangiev, I don't have a solution because I'm having the same problem.

    I say go buy some new ones from HomeDepo or Lowes that is the best option!!! they really aren't all that exspencive (sp'd wr)

    if they are new blinds they are obviously faulty take them back to the store and get them replaced

    Please find an solution to this problem. There are a lot of us out there with perfectly good blinds that do not open or close any more.

    If the blinds are custom made, a name brand and was purshased from a decorator they are guareented for life. Just call your designer that you purchased them from and they will order the correct new part or
