Easy DIY Texture Wall Art

Easy
You don't need to have artistic talent to create beautiful art for your home inexpensively. Art pieces that include some texture really make a piece stand out. Here is an easy and inexpensive way to create texture wall art.
Using clothesline rope, a hot glue gun and some acrylic chalk paint, I was able to create this beautiful piece of art.
Start but putting a small amount of hot glue on the end of the rope to prevent fraying.
Add a small line of glue and roll the end and let cool.
Continue adding glue and rolling until you get a circle the size you want. Finish the end by adding a small amount of glue to prevent fraying.
I made 4 different size circles and laid them out on a foam poster board in a pattern that I liked.
I used a foam roller and chalk paint to paint the foam poster board in a color that complimented the color of my circles.
Using chalk paint in 4 colors, I put a light coat of paint on the circles. Some I intentionally left natural. I just used a light coat of paint because I was okay with some of the rope showing through to give it a more weathered look.
I used a poster frame the same size of the foam board to frame my art.

The circles were hot glued to the painted foam board and then put in the frame. Done!
