Make Your Own Sea Glass Jar

1 Hour
Easy
All you need is three things to make a super cute mason glass jar, then you can use it for so many things!
You need a Jar (or glass vase). I used a mason jar, and I scuffed mine up a little with some sand paper because I wanted a slightly scratched look.
And you need White school glue, and food coloring! That's it! I mixed 1 drop of blue, and 3 drops of green to get this sea green color for my sea glass jar.
Just paint your glue mixture onto the outside of the jar, and let dry! It's really that simple!
I added chicken wire in the top of my jar, because I was planning to use this super cute jar in a nautical theme bathroom as a toothbrush holder!
I added some cute sea shells, and a ring of sand around the bottom so it would match my bathroom decor.
So easy! And it turned out great! For detailed instructions and lots more how to pictures, visit the blog link below!

What happens if the glue on the outside of the jar gets wet? Do you spray a fixative or clear matte paint over it so it won't get sticky?
