How to Combat Black Spots on Roses

Today I am sharing with you my best tips for combating black spots on your roses. Years ago in college, we learned all about causes and treatment for this disease, but I never gave it much mind since I had never dealt with it.
In Texas, we typically have more hot and dry weather over anything else. Those in our area know how much torrential rain we've experienced over the past few months which led to my poor rose bushes sitting in damp soil for weeks. Last month, I noticed some black spots and soon they were covering both my large climbing roses in the back yard. I immediately pulled out all my old notes, books, and got to researching. These tips I am sharing with you today have treated the black spots, and I am happy to say they are looking beautiful again!
I hope these proven tips can help you combat this disease as well!
Here is a close up of the spots. This fungal disease takes over fast, so it is best to catch it early!
I started seeing new growth soon after treating the bushes! Now, they are really growing big and healthy. Visit my blog for my easy proven tips to get rid of the black spots! Let me know if you have any questions!
